SOAP Vault is becoming Noterro
New name, still the best thing to ever happen to your clinic.
We recently emailed our users with some BIG news: we’ve rebranded!
That’s right. SOAP Vault is becoming Noterro.
Apart from a catchier name and new look, Noterro is still the same software that thousands of Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Chiropractors use to streamline their clinics.
Don’t worry. We’re not leaving the things you loved about SOAP Vault behind. The features you’ve come to rely on to run your business, like…
- Credit Card holding, deposits and full payment for patients to book online
- Complete billing tracking system including multiple payments towards invoices and account credits
- Square & Mailchimp integration
- Appointment reminders
- Intake forms
- SOAP Notes
- Reports
…Yup. Noterro does all of that too. (Plus even more functionality is in the works.)
Real talk: This is the biggest change our brand has ever gone through. So, we want to tell you how we got here.
What’s Noterro?
Noterro is clinic management software designed for Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, and other health care practitioners that want to streamline their day-to-day operations. Think of Noterro like a trusty, clinic companion. Professional, dependable, efficient, and never complains about working late. (In fact, Noterro lets your patients book appointments anytime, anywhere…even after hours.)
Noterro is both robust in functionality, but so easy to use that you won’t feel like you need a PhD in computer science to understand how the heck it works.
If it’s time for your clinic to go paperless, it’s time to meet Noterro.
We know that scheduling, taking SOAP Notes, and other administrative tasks aren’t the most exciting parts of your day, so don’t feel bad about putting Noterro to work.
Have we been acquired by another company?
Nope! The SOAP Vault and Noterro teams are one and the same. We may have rebranded with a new name and logo, but our values and mission remain the same. We’re still dedicated to building clinic management software that makes your clinic life way less complicated.
Okay, so then why the name change?
We’ve loved helping our users run their clinics as SOAP Vault. But the more we thought about it (and heard from our users), the more we realized that the name doesn’t cover ALL the things the app does to make clinic life easier. The results of a user experience survey found that SOAP Notes are only one of many features that our users rely on to run their clinics.
Plus, you would not believe how many people outside massage therapy thought SOAP Vault was a bath soap company.
Simply put, we realized that we had outgrown the SOAP Vault name.
After many hours of research and creative brainstorming, we landed on Noterro. The name is inspired by the Icelandic word noterra which means notes. We liked that it’s a nod to our earliest feature (SOAP Notes), but still has a modern feel.
What does this mean for you?
The clinic management software you know and love just got MORE awesome!
Seriously though, while things may start to look a little different as we begin rolling out changes over the next few weeks, your daily experience with the app remains the same.
In places where you’re used to seeing SOAP Vault, you’ll start to see Noterro. You can expect to see changes to our URL and email addresses as well as your:
- Booking links
- Calendar syncs
- Reminder emails to patients
There’s no rush to update your browser bookmarks and online booking links just yet. We’ll redirect you and your patients to the new site if you have the old one bookmarked.
What’s happening to the website?
The name Noterro has a different feel than SOAP Vault does. So it makes sense that our website’s logo, colours, and fonts would be updated to match our new name.
If Noterro was a real, living, breathing, person, we’d describe them as:
- Dependable and helpful
- Playful, yet professional
Noterro isn’t another item on your to-do list. We want you to look forward to using the app everyday because it simplifies your clinic life. You’ll start to see this reflected in our new branding and messaging throughout the site.
Speaking of changes, you’ll eventually be able to register a custom subdomain with the name of your clinic (e.g. myawesomeclinic.noterro.com). Stay tuned for details!
What about the app?
Like our website, our web app will be given the Noterro treatment with our new brand colours and fonts.
You can expect to see the app updated to Noterro by mid-July.
If you're using the SOAP Vault PWA app, make sure you install the Noterro PWA app after the app has been updated. You can find step-by-step instructions here.
We know how essential SOAP Vault (now Noterro) is to your business. We’re working hard to get things changed over without any disruptions to your daily operations.
Like we said, the app will look different, but everything you did with SOAP Vault you’ll still be able to do with Noterro.
