Elizabeth MacDonald, RMT

On June 11th, 2022 mask mandates in healthcare settings officially lifted. This means that the Ministry of Health is asking practitioners/facilities to perform their own risk assessment and decide if continuing to mask is best for their practice.

For a variety of reasons, including the close nature of massage therapy treatments, and the varied health status among clients, I will be continuing to wear a mask and will require clients to do the same. If you feel you would be more comfortable receiving massage therapy treatments without a mask I would be happy to help connect you with another massage therapist.

I ask for your understanding and consideration that the client in the room after you may have a different health status and am grateful for your effort in helping keep everyone safe.

Safety Protocols

- Clients must wear a surgical/medical grade mask while in the office, including while on the table.

- A Pre-Appointment Screening survey must be completed via email at least 24hrs prior to arriving at the office. Please carefully read all questions and answer honestly.

- If you have developed symptoms or feel unwell, please contact me PRIOR to arriving for your appointment. Do not come to the office if you are feeling unwell.

- If you’ve tested positive or you have COVID-19 symptoms, please wait 10 days to book or reschedule your massage therapy appointment.
