Carey Coffin is the proprietor of an eponymous massage therapy studio that operates based on the "fundamental interconnectedness of all things." She specialises in desk-job-related soreness and dance/circus injuries. At ICT Northumberland College, Carey was awarded the MTWPAM Wholistic Therapist Award upon her graduation in 2019, and is a member in good standing with the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia. Her therapeutic toolbox includes myofascial release, deep tissue therapy, Swedish massage, Suikodo™ (a gentle, exploratory technique that affects neuromuscular meridians), and movement-informed homecare suggestions. She believes massage is for every body, and is LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and fat friendly. She is excited for future opportunities to learn new techniques and broaden her experience.
Aside from her wholistic detective massage therapy work, Carey is a bellydancer, knitting designer, leatherworker, hula hooper, fire eater, costume designer, and voracious book reader.
