Hello and welcome!
Massage therapy has always been a part of my self care, but it wasn’t until I had a difficult pregnancy that I realized the extend of what massage can do and how imperative it can be to have a massage therapist as an integral part of a health care team.
Following the birth of my beautiful son in 2017, an opportunity presented itself to change directions and I left an established career as a kitchen designer to pursue a long-time dream of becoming a registered massage therapist.
Without a second thought, I enrolled in school at Axiom Career College in Saskatoon and balanced life as a solo parent and full-time student. Two years later, I am proud to say I am now a Registered Massage Therapist with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.
My focus tends to be on therapeutic Swedish, deep tissue treatments and myofascial cupping. I use my knowledge of anatomy and the function of muscles to incorporate active and passive release along with some trigger point therapy.
