I've been a massage therapist since 1995. I specialize in orthopedic manual therapy and incorporate a range of therapeutic techniques including neuromuscular, myofascial, trigger point, and joint mobilization. I determine where the problem is coming from and address it. It's advisable to wear comfortable clothing such as a sports bra and shorts. You'll be properly draped during the entire session.
Additionally, I've studied movement and yoga since the 1990's. Since 2015, I've been certified through Nutritious Movement as a Certified Personal Trainer-Restorative Exercise Specialist (CPT-RES). I advocate whole body movement and help identify your blindspots and areas of weakness (underuse/overuse) so you can fill in any gaps with targeted movements and/or stretches. I want to help you move more easily and feel better. I'm also certified as a Yoga Teacher-500 hours and studied with Jules Mitchell in 2018-19 and I've taught Anatomy and Physiology for students in yoga teacher training since 2012.
