Setting Up Service Areas

Service Areas are designated regions where a Practitioner chooses to provide mobile service appointments. Here are the steps to setting up and selecting a service area in Noterro GO.

Selecting Your Service Area

  1. Login as Admin.
  2. Go to Clinic Settings.
  3. Select GO from the list.
  4. Click Add New Under Service Areas.
  5. Name the Service Area.
  6. You can set the Maximum Distance you're willing to travel between appointments in kilometres.
  7. You can also set the Travel Time required to travel between appointments.
  8. Under Online Booking, you have the option to select Allow patients within this service area to book online.
  9. Under Geofence, click on the map to draw boundary points for your chosen Service Area.
  10. Select Services you'd like to offer in the Service Area.

Important Note: You can enter the city, postal code, or address under 'Center the Map' to zoom in on your chosen area within the map.

Enabling Geo-clustering

Geo-clustering limits appointment availability to other nearby appointments within a set radius. When enabled, this groups your appointments closer together. Here's how to set up Geo-clustering in Noterro GO:

  1. Login as Admin.
  2. Go to Clinic Settings.
  3. Select GO from the list.
  4. Click Add New or select the Service Area under Service Areas.
  5. Under Geoclustering, select Enable Geo-clustering.

Setting Up Travel Time

Travel time is the designated time required to travel between mobile appointment locations. Here are the steps to setting up Travel Time in Noterro GO. Travel time will be added to the service + recovery time.

  1. Login as Admin.
  2. Go to Clinic Settings.
  3. Select GO from the list.
  4. Click Add New or under Service Areas or select the Service Area.
  5. Under Travel Time, enable Set Travel Time.
  6. Add the number of minutes required to travel between your appointments.

Enabling Online Booking for Noterro GO

When Noterro GO's online booking feature is enabled, Patients within the chosen service area can book their mobile appointments online. Here's how:

  1. Login as Admin.
  2. Go to Clinic Settings.
  3. Select GO from the list.
  4. Click Add New or select the Service Area.
  5. Select Allow Patients Within this Service Area to Book Online under Online Booking.
