Refunding a Square Payment In Noterro

Here's how you can refund payment in Noterro when the payment has been processed using the Square Reader or Terminal.

Refund Square Payment

  1. Click on the Invoice.
  2. Click on the Three Dots in the top right.
  3. Click on Refund.
  4. In the Refund Method, select Square (Process Refund).
  5. In the Refund Amount, add in the Amount.
  6. Click Refund.
  7. If a debit transaction is made on the Square Terminal, you will be prompted to insert a debit card.

Important Note: Square (Process refund) is used if the transaction is made through Square by Reader, Terminal or Card on File. Square in Person/Credit Card (Record Only) is used if your Noterro account is no longer connected to Square, the transaction was processed in the Square dashboard on their site, or the transaction was from account credit.
