This guide will walk you through batching EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) files in Noterro. EDI files are used to submit claims to clearinghouses like Trizetto, Availity, or Office Ally. Follow the steps below to manage and batch your claims for submission efficiently.

Access the Billing Section

    1. Navigate to the Billing icon in your Noterro account.
    2. From the Billing page, locate the Claims section.

Select Claims to Batch

    1. In the Claims section, you can batch claims from either the Draft or Submitted status.
    2. To batch claims from the Draft section, click on Draft.

Filter Claims

    1. You can filter the claims by Date Range to narrow down the claims you want to batch. For instance, select the appropriate date range if you want to submit claims weekly.
    2. You can also filter by Insurer to choose claims from specific insurance providers.

Review and Correct Claim Errors

    1. Before batching claims, ensure that all claims are error-free. Claims with issues will be highlighted.
    2. If there are errors, you can correct them inline. For example, if the diagnostic code is missing, click on the claim with the error to view and fix any issues.
    3. Once errors are corrected, the claim will be ready to batch.

Download EDI Files

    1. After selecting the claims, click on the Download EDI button.
    2. If there are claims with issues that you do not want to fix immediately, they will not be included in the batch.
    3. Once you click Download, Noterro will provide a summary of the claims being downloaded and confirm the number of claims in the batch.
    4. The selected EDI file will then be downloaded to your device.
