It gives you direct access to the nation’s largest real-time health information network with connections to over 2,000 payers nationwide, including over 30 Blue plans and government payers like Medicaid and Medicare. Availity streamlines your eligibility, claims management, and authorizations Availity makes it easy to work with payers, from the first check of a Patient's eligibility through the final resolution of your reimbursement.

Email noterro@availity.com with your clinic's name and phone number. Someone on the Availity team who is aware of the Noterro + Availity integration will gladly help you.

For Availity Essentials Pro Customers

You will receive the FTP credentials from your Availity Implementation Coordinator or contact Availity Essentials Pro Support at 877-927-8000. Once you have your login credentials, you must add them to Noterro.

  1. Click on the Gear icon in the top right header.
  2. Under the Insurance heading, click on Availity.
  3. Put in your Username and Password.
  4. Click Connect.
  5. Add Payer Identification Numbers to your Insurers (see below).

Availity Essentials (free version) Customers

Noterro is not currently integrated with Availity Essentials, but you could create an FTP account in Availity Essentials to upload the 837 EDI manually.

  1. Log in to Availity Essentials at https://apps.availity.com.
  2. In the menu bar, click Claims & Payments > FTP and EDI Connection Services,
    and then click Manage Your FTP Mailbox on the FTP and EDI Connection Services page.
  3. On the Manage Your FTP Mailbox page, select the Organization.
  4. Enter a username and password for the new FTP account, and confirm the password.
  5. Click Create Account.

Payer Identification Numbers

You will also need Payer Identification Numbers to add to Insurers. You must get this number by contacting Availity Essentials Pro Support at 877-927-8000. Availity Essentials (free version) Support at 800-282-4548.

  1. Log in as the Admin.
  2. Click on the Gear icon (top right header).
  3. Click on Insurance.
  4. Click on Insurers.
  5. Click Add New or Edit Existing Insurers.
  6. Add the appropriate information plus the Payer Identification Number.
  7. Click Save.
