Saving Drafts or Finalized Notes

Client notes can be saved as drafts or finalized notes. Draft notes can be edited and saved as often as needed until finalized. As you make adjustments to draft notes, they are autosave. Once a note is finalized, it is locked and cannot be edited. However, you can add an addendum to a finalized note if you need to make changes or add additional information.

Method One: Clinical Note Listing Page

  1. Click the Patient's name.
  2. Click the Clinical Notes tab in the sidebar.
  3. Under Draft Clinical Notes, find the note you want to be finalized.
  4. Click the Three Dots that are in line with the note.
  5. Click Finalize.

Method Two: Dashboard

  1. Click the Dashboard header.
  2. Expand the Draft Clinical Note section.
  3. Click the Three Dots under the note you want to finalize.
  4. Click Finalize.

Method Three: In the Clinical Note

  1. Open your Clinical Note.
  2. After completing your notes, click Finalized on the top right.

Important Note: You will have seven days to revert the finalized note to a draft. After seven days, finalized notes cannot be modified.
