Efficient Methods for Adding New Clinical Notes

Here are multiple ways you can add or create a clinical note.

Method One: From the Patient Profile

  1. Click on the Patient's name (from the Patient listing page, Search, etc.).
  2. Click on the Clinical Notes tab.
  3. Click on Add New.

Method Two: From the Calendar

  1. Click on the Patient's Appointment in the Calendar.
  2. Click on the Add Note button.

Method Three: From the Dashboard

  1. Go to the Today's Appointments (upper left corner) on the Dashboard.
  2. Click on the Dropdown menu.
  3. Click on the Service Name.
  4. On the slide-out window, click the Add Note button.

Important Note: Once you create a clinical note for a specific Patient, it can't be transferred or moved to a different Patient's profile. Each clinical note gets linked to the Patient profile under which it was created. If you've accidentally created a note for the wrong Patient, you would need to create a new note for the correct Patient and manually transfer the information to the new clinical note.
